12 volt solenoid is the best among starters and parts
I have used this solenoid to power my underwater boat lights which only draw about 10 amps at 12 volts DC. The solenoid worked for about 10 minutes, after which the coil failed. The device will likely work fine for its intended application, but it's definitely not a continuously acting solenoid. It wasn't actually advertised as a continuous mode, so I gave it a few extra stars.
