Review on 🧽 DII Microfiber Multi-Purpose Cleaning Towels: Ideal for Kitchens, Dishes, Car Cleaning, Dusting, and Drying Rags - Eggplant Lattice (Set of 4) by Tara Perry

Buy it only if you use it as a decorative towel.

These microfiber towels are beautiful! They're really cheap for a set of 4 and look great as an accent towel, but that's where my love for them ends. I bought these polyester towels a while back and use them every day but they never let things dry completely. I figured all towels leave some moisture on the dishes, so I didn't think much of it until I started using 100% cotton at my mom's house. I bought some cotton towels and can't believe the difference - cotton actually dries and absorbs a lot more water by soaking up spilled water. I have included a picture with this review showing the left side of a plastic cutting board wiped with a cotton cloth and the right side with a DII microfiber cloth. You can see the difference for yourself. I hate throwing away two sets of these towels so I use these microfiber polyester hand towels as hand towels now. Although they are soft to the touch, they are not suitable for people with dry hands (the fabric sticks to rough skin and cuticles so they are not ideal for my family in winter). These clothes are advertised as cleaning cloths in the title, but I don't use them for cleaning either: they just spread dust and dirt instead of cleaning. I have other microfiber towels that seem to clean and polish better. My typical reviews are positive; In fact, this is my first minus. I'd suggest if you're buying a decorative towel go for that, but otherwise pass by.

Pros
  • ULTRA-ABSORBENT - Holds up to 7 times its weight of liquid, dirt or grime - Microfiber has a capillary effect between the fibers creating suction that allows you to clean and polish at the same time
Cons
  • Easily torn
