This regulator will not work with 5/8" - 18Rh hose ends. I bought a standard inert gas weld hose with fittings on each end, but the regulator has no connection other than barbed fittings. I didn't want to cut off the factory fitting to use this regulator. I was trying to find a brass fitting that would go from reg. to the ends of the hose, but no luck. I even called the seller but they didn't help. Also, the barbed hose fittings that came with the regulator had brass shavings on the side, the coupler (which goes between the regs was a bit wobbly (not quite a cross thread, but not straight either). I really wanted that regulator too working (impatient) but when I had so many problems right out of the box I returned the unit and bought "8milelake Argon CO2 Mig Tig Flow Meter Flow Meter Flow Meter Regulator Welding Welding Gauge" Welds should be able to To use barbed hose fittings and regular 5/8'-18RH welded hose fittings.
