I thought I would try these out as these days we all have remotes for our remotes and all of them need batteries. This was a nice combo deal as I needed a mix of AA and AAA batteries to keep everything going. Most of the rechargeables I've used in the past have been pre-charged, these were not, but hey, no problem we'll popp them into the charger and we're off, well that was true but not in a big hurry, these took forever to fully charge. I charged up all 16 and immediately used 8, 4 of the AAA and 4 of the AA. Three days later my TV is complaining that I need to replace the AA batteries in the remote that I had just charged and replaced, so I did, except the ones that were sitting in their case on my shelf for three days were dead too, less than 1.1v, which wouldn't drive the remote any longer. The next day I had the exact same issue with another remote and the AAA's.I am writing this review now 5 months after the purchase because I thought maybe they didn't "like" my chargers and I just recently found a battery/charger combo by EBL and I figured maybe these were just a bad batch, or maybe if I used their charging device. NO, THESE BATTERIES BY EBL DO NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Even with their charger, which took over 6 hours to charge their brand new batteries, they didn't last 4 days on the shelf, I could not use them without re-charging them on a simple low power device.I don't write many negative reviews and with all the positive reviews these batteries tend to get I can only scratch my head. All I can say for certain is that I will not be buying their products again and at this time I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.EDIT:08-07-20 The manufacturer recommended to charge and discharge these batteries 3 times to build their capacity, so I went out and bought the BT-C2400 Battery Charger / Analyzer, great device btw. I followed the manufacturers instructions and went through the discharge refresh cycle on the analyzer. The mAh on these batteries was rated at 2800, the highest I got was 2135 on one out of 12 batteries, most were around half of rated value. Once again after 4 weeks on the shelf I got values from .29v to 1.27v. These batteries are absolutely USELESS. RUN from these EBT batteries. DO NOT waste your money. Also I had commented that the charger wasn’t so bad, well after getting a real charger I realize just how bad the provided charger was. It’s as bad as the batteries. The seller sent me replacement batteries in case the ones I had were defective, which was a wonderful thing to do, but those were just as bad. Quite frankly The Revain Bacics rechargeables are a much better battery and therefore a much better buy. Thanks for the support EBT but this product is not up to quality standards set by other foreign brands.
