Phenomenal tweeters. They are bright, loud and big! I don't think I'll ever go back to a 1 inch speaker. I installed them on a 1998 Chevrolet K1500 pickup originally hoping to put them in the standard tweeter position but due to the size of these tweeters I was unable to fit them. I improvised and placed them just below the door and window controls. Approximately 3.5" to the right and 3.5" up. Check my customer photo for the exact image. I use the crossover tweeters that came with my PPI 6.5 components so I didn't need a bass blocker, they come with a PPI 6.5 midrange driver and two Sundown Audio SA- 8 coupled . V.2 (8" woofer) My only complaint about the tweeters is that they already have solder on the spade lugs, which I didn't want to use in my application, making it quite difficult to install the quick connect cable terminals. Until I removed the solder, desoldering the tabs added a few extra minutes to the installation. To remove the solder, if you're like me and don't intend to use them, you'll need to desolder them with an iron, sand the solder down with sandpaper, or use a desoldering file.
