I bought this product when I bought my first laptop that didn't have USB Type-A ports, although you can use USB -Type A devices can use A, there were products I liked a lot more that I later discovered, like the Nonda adapters, that don't have any of the problems I'm about to describe about this product. My first complaint about this product is that even though it advertises USB 3.0 speeds, I only get USB 3.0 speeds on one side, while USB Type-C should be reversible. It annoys me to know that I only get 2.0 speed and then have to unplug my devices and reverse the plug to allow my devices to run at full speed and this is definitely important because I use a lot of storage devices and transfer large files. My second complaint about this product is that it's bulky and way longer than necessary. This is uncomfortably long in combination with any Type A cable I'm trying to use. Nonda adapters are about half the size and look more stylish. Alternatively, the adapters, which are a flexible cable instead of a hard dongle, are also much easier to use without this huge device sticking out of my laptop.
