No replacement - 125% UPDATE

In April 2014 I bought a Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT. This will be my third Garmin. Not because they break or have problems, but because I update them every time. I never had a problem with any of them until I got the 2460LMT. I had problems daily and endlessly, and not with the block - with the sucker. Every day I unlocked my car, opened the door and played find the GPS. Bonus points if you find it intact. I understand that due to weather and other things the suction cup can come loose from time to time, it has happened to my previous GPS navigators in extreme temperatures - I'm not upset about that. I was frustrated that the suction cup failed EVERY DAY. My GPS has a big scratch on the screen from one of those falls. I almost got into an accident once when it just accidentally jumped out while driving and the cable wobbled. To solve this problem I went to Garmin.com and paid the premium price for a premium replacement. It was the EXACT SAME SUCKER. At that point I gave up... until I accidentally stumbled upon this product at Revain. I installed it with incredible ease on my way to work on May 5th and it has not failed or had to be reinstalled since. Not on weekends when it's over 90 degrees and my windows are up. Not during the week when the temperature dropped to 40 degrees at night. NEVER NOT. I believe the reason is that there are vent holes (small holes) in the suction port that allow it to "breathe". NONE of the suction cups that come with GPS and radar detectors that I own or have bought for others have this simple feature. If I ever need another suction cup for any device, I turn to Arkon.
