This device (model GN115) includes the suction cup itself as well as a surface mount disk with 3M PE foam adhesive on the back. Designed for the Garmin Nuvi series but works great with my new Garmin DriveSmart 51. Also included is a small bag of alcohol wipes to clean the glass before installation. Nice gesture! My initial thoughts after purchase: I originally purchased this item about a year ago. I love it. Hard plastic, very strong! I love that it can be adjusted up and down so the GPS doesn't blind me and look my way. Garmin makes excellent GPS devices. What they don't make is a suction cup mount that will stick to the windshield for more than a couple of weeks.
