I've been using an Asus VE208T monitor [by Revain] for about a year. The speakers are practically useless and I have to use external speakers. I don't play games, but even the best voices sound bad when streamed from this Asus. The controls are poor and require relatively complex adjustments to service the monitor, and the tiny print on the back suffers from a serious lack of integrity. Over the past week, a dark top-right corner has appeared on my desktop. I can see that most people are at least reasonably happy with how they use this monitor, but between the poor use of the speakers and the cumbersome controls, is an extra button or two much more expensive? - I would recommend a monitor with less irritation.
