The actuator serves its purpose, it is a good replacement.
My ice dispenser got frost and I just had to buy a new door. But I have decided to replace all parts involved in the ice dispensing process as a precaution. Even though my fridge is about 6 years old and I clean it regularly there are a lot of nasty things in it when I take the dispenser apart - mold and splatter inside - I'm so glad I bought all the new parts. The parts have to be OEM and so far everything has fitted smoothly and the drive has done its job well.
