Just got this a few weeks ago and kept it in the bottom of my glove box (2012 Toyota Sienna, has a smaller top and larger bottom glove box). It fits in nicely along with some other papers and admittedly crap I should probably get rid of or move into the house. Anyway, the temperature around me has only dropped below zero twice and I was able to check it and everything went fine. The scraper's handle and neck are strong, and while I had to use a lot of force to scrape the ice off the windshield, I was never afraid that part of it might break off. I didn't have to use the other end, but I'm sure it will work just as well. It's funny. I've wanted an ice scraper for years and because of the short time it takes to actually freeze to need one I never got one. When I first got behind the wheel, I was only using a CD case. This is a big update. A plus. Who still wears a CD case? ;-)
