Worth the investment.
I've been using these little chainsaw grease guns for years. 30 years ago you got one with every new chainsaw which included a case, a file and sometimes an extra new chain - nothing more! In any case, they are ideal for lubricating the roller at the end of the rod. Lubricate the handlebar tip roller every time you stop to refuel or add handlebar oil. They are light, strong and can be filled with fat.
