I really love this color. When you first put them on your bed there is a really nice sheen that will fade a bit over time. I have two dogs. The one who lies on the bed as much if not more than me. It's lightly colored. Nothing that can't be washed away. Also, ladies, if you have your cycle, remember that it can mess it up forever. I recently switched to All Clean and Clear detergent instead of Tide Clean and Clear detergent, so it's either a change or the sheets left a permanent stain. The first time I washed it, it broke in the corner. He's downstairs, so it doesn't matter. Although my apartment has a portable washing machine which is not as rough as a standard washer, so be careful when using a standard washer and dryer. Everything is fine with dog hair. My younger dog who keeps lying on my bed sheds so much. There aren't many bedding options that can shed excess hair, but this set is definitely not the worst. I wash them about twice a week. After a week, it can get dirty and build up excessive hair. If none of these apply to your daily life, then they are actually perfect. :)
