Love the ease of use of this timer! It is extremely versatile and can be used for almost anything! I love that it has the ability to rest on a magnet, clamp or on a hard surface. We've used it for cooking (love that it can be used with one hand), potty training, taking breaks, and as a stopwatch. Upon receipt, I was able to use this product without reading instructions or installing batteries. That's right, it even comes with batteries! The display is large and easy to read, so you can see it from afar. If for some reason you can't figure out how to use the timer/stopwatch, you will find a letter in the box with clear instructions. Overall this is a great product and comes in handy for multiple uses around the home. The price is reasonable so it's always a good idea to stuff one in a stocking or give it to the kitchen as a gift - I think the recipient always finds a use for it!
