I finally got the chance to use my new skincare products. I will use Lexol to clean and condition my leather bags and leather furniture in my home. So far I have used it to clean and maintain my speedbag. I bought a vintage speedbag that is about 15-20 years old. It is in excellent condition for its age but needs some maintenance to be in perfect condition. Old leather on a speed bag can dry out and crack if not stored properly for many years, and once it cracks it will ruin the bag as parts come loose. On top of that, most people don't clean the leather of their gym bag over the years and dirt and grime also causes the leather to wear out prematurely. The speedbag in question was made of soft, lightweight baby leather. There were no cracks or visible dirt on it. I followed the instructions and first cleaned and then processed the speedbag. I noticed the cleaning rag getting dirty showing that although there was no visible dirt there was still dirt on the bag. The results were very good! The bag itself is a little shinier after cleaning and care and the leather is a little softer. Best of all, the packaging doesn't feel oily! If left oily after processing it would tend to attract dust and this product won't leave that behind. I will add more when using this product on my leather sofas. So far I am satisfied with this product.
