the nuts on the ends appear to be brass not steel. The wavy part that goes into the power steering pump wasn't bent at quite the right angle and was taking forever to straighten out. When purchasing this item, compare it with the old part before installing it. After I pulled the threads off I had to file the threads and bend the end slightly to get it to fit properly. Consider replacing the heat shield clip with a metal clip like OEM, or use OEM. The plastic tape may or may not melt near the exhaust pipe. I'm sure it will work fine when it's finally installed.
