I love area rugs, but putting them on carpets is a pain because they move around when walked on. I tried a carpet tape from Home Depot and it worked well. However, I like to rearrange the furniture quiet often, and that carpet tape tore holes in the area rugs and left sticky residue on the carpets. I tried going without tape for awhile, but they move too much and I couldn't take it anymore. I read the reviews for this tape and it sounded like just what I've been looking for. I've had the tape on for about a week now and I am so happy with the results so far. The rugs do not move at all anymore. One of the rugs was starting to get a crease in it from when I was not using tape and I was afraid that the crease would overcome the tape. But I can't even see where the crease was anymore. I have not had the tape on long enough to know if I will be able to move the rugs without causing damage. But while I was applying the tape, I did not get them exactly in the correct spot on the first try, so I had to lift them up and move them and so far so good.
