I ordered this pressure gauge because I found that the water pressure in our house was too high and I wanted to check it myself. In a short space of time, there were three interruptions in the water supply on our street. After the city renovated them, we had plumbing problems in our house. When I called the plumber to fix these issues, he said we had very high water pressure (110 when it should be between 50 and 70). Before we decided to install a pressure control valve, I decided to use this water pressure gauge to check the pressure myself. I'm glad I did. This confirmed that our water pressure was indeed too high. The reading I got was around 110. A second plumber even came to check on me and he also confirmed that the sensor reading was correct. I'll add that it's not the easiest metric, but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. I am happy with my purchase and will use again in the future if the need arises.
