I have an old John Deere Saber tractor. Does not start, starter and ignition switch recently changed. I was hoping that this time the new starter or switch wasn't to blame. I found the starter solenoid buried in the dirt and grass under the seat in the battery compartment. I removed the starter solenoid which was held in place with a couple of 10mm screws. It was very rusty and bad looking. I was happy to find this at Revain and hoped it would bring my Deere back to life. After installing a new starter magnet it started immediately. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a John Deere Saber and is having trouble starting. I'm sure it will fit other John Deere tractor types as well.
