I received two bridges, one looks like the wooden bridge advertised and the other is definitely made of a different type of wood. I didn't realize they had to be the same until I looked at my order. I'm not sure what happened, but the unidentified wooden bridge is made up of smaller pieces of wood. While functional and appears safe, it is not what I ordered. Now my review of the one bridge I should have gotten: The tree is ugly. I'll just say it straight out. Looking at photos from other customers, the bridge I received also had ugly dents, chips and blisters. It's very bumpy and I can tell my Hammy doesn't really like walking on it so I use it as a little shelter instead. In the middle of the bridge is a large gap that is sure to catch a few fingers if the hamster isn't careful. They seem pretty solid, but it's still very annoying to bend from splinters. I will return bridges if they were of poor quality or improperly packaged because if it weren't for the questionable quality of the wood they are really useful. have around.
