Clean thoroughly before use

A few notes on this product to help me break it down. Pros: This is what is stated. The bridge is incredibly flexible and strong. Suitable for small active pets. It's a good size and you get 2 for an amazing price. Cons: Don't expect to open it up and put it straight into your pet's cage. They come incredibly dirty. I have cleaned and baked mine very well to ensure they are safe for my pets. Mental effort is an amazing thing.

2 bridges made of DIFFERENT types of wood.

I received two bridges, one looks like the wooden bridge advertised and the other is definitely made of a different type of wood. I didn't realize they had to be the same until I looked at my order. I'm not sure what happened, but the unidentified wooden bridge is made up of smaller pieces of wood. While functional and appears safe, it is not what I ordered. (Edit in review) Unnecessary silver paint is peeling off the dented end hooks.

Edit* (The only problem I had was the silver paint on the end hooks. I scraped them off easily. Good. Very durable. No signs of wear even after flexing several times. None of my hamsters seems interested in chewing them. Only a couple of times as this was new to them. I haven't had a problem with mold as some have said and as the description states.
