Review on Sony INZONE Gaming Monitor Dimming 27", 144Hz, HDR, SDMU27M90, HD by John Hamilton

The monitor has a great screen - nice deep blacks and very good colors with HDR. However, it cannot be used with PS5 because the firmware has problems with HDR handshake with PS5. The monitor searches for a signal across all ports several times within an hour. Disabling auto-detect has stopped scanning, but continues to search for a signal on the selected input. Other times it doesn't scan and just loses the HDR handshake and you end up with a blurry screen. It's crazy what's happening with the PS5. Sony has stated that it doesn't know if and when a firmware fix will be available. Returned the monitor as it's not worth $899 until the firmware issue is fixed.
