Tomorrow I'll return this gate! I liked the idea of an auto-closing gate, which is why I chose this option over other Munckin baby gates. It seems some other people had the same concerns as me. I don't like it because it closes very quickly and is very noisy. I don't like the fact that you have to lift to open, hold the baby and other things. Also, the top handle/slide mechanism was completely broken when we installed the gate. Was frustrated that I thought I couldn't return it through Revain and had to do it through the manufacturer as I bought it a few months ago as it was in the box. When I looked at the return information, they told me I still have a month to return it. I like the other Munchkin gates so I just ordered one.
