I like this shaving soap best, it foams quickly and the smell is not strong, which I consider a plus. The downside is that the foam is a bit watery and doesn't stick. Normally, the foam at the end of a shave is nothing more than a film of soap. Soap films provide some - less than optimal - lubrication for a clean shave, but I have to keep the blade wetter to compensate. In my experience, soaps that lather quickly tend to have thinner lathers, so I don't think that's surprising, but I prefer thicker lathers. Obviously you might have other preferences, this is a decent soap but I wouldn't buy it again. I've updated my review after using this soap for a few months, the first time in a long time that I've actually thrown away a half-used bar of soap. The lather this soap creates is too runny and wafer-thin, doesn't lubricate my razor enough, and leaves a soapy film that forces me to wash my face after shaving.
