What I like most about this device is that it is easy to use. My old one lasted 18 years. A microphone broke, tape recorders stopped working and finally, after 18 years, the CD player began to fail. This device was easy to use. The new unit I just got makes a little difference, but not much, but cassette decks work, but they have a lot of noise, a lot of "buzz" when trying to record from one tape to another. Basically, cassette decks are useless. The mics work but are very cheap compared to the old mics from the first unit I bought. So far the CD player is playing very well and that's the only reason I'm not returning it yet. I hope he doesn't disappoint me.
