Be patient, it's our second day with a new bag and I understand that new things can have strange smells. What about dead fish? Every time someone sits on it, more air escapes from the bag and the smell gets all my kids running. We do our best to air it out but are seriously unhappy with the smell considering how much we paid. Although, apart from the smell of dead fish, the bag seems pleasant. Unpacking was a little tricky as the zipper kept getting caught on the plastic bag and tearing it. But once we pulled it out and hid it in a shelter, it began to spread quickly. It's not fully developed yet, but I hope it's already filled most of the cover. The gray faux leather case is also soft and feels very comfortable. In fact, if it weren't for the smell this would definitely be a 5 star purchase.
