Summer in Tennessee calls for a hat to protect your (and in my case stupidly competitive) head and face from the sun. However, the humidity sometimes makes wearing a hat a bit uncomfortable. I have some good and fairly expensive hats that have a lot of synthetic fibers that naturally make you sweat. Pooh. So I was looking for the best hat for my new home. And I think I found it with this Borges and Scott hat that I got through the Vine program. The hat arrived in its box which I highly recommend you keep the hat when not in use or when the season has changed. The hat comes with an envelope with 'patches' to tuck into the headband for a loose fit and a use/care guide (which helped me immediately as the hat had a small section that deformed during shipping ). Following the hat shaping instructions, I used a damp cloth and blow dryer (thanks hubby) to shape the hat back into shape. And boy, how beautiful does that look! The hat fit me perfectly and was very comfortable to wear. Even though summer is coming to an end here, I really like this hat. I'm almost looking forward to summer next year so I can use it all season long.
