👒 Savanna Teardrop: Hand Woven Panama Hat with Leather Belt Trim - A Genuine Style Statement Review

My cap arrived safely but the retail packaging allows the cap to move. This shift allows the brim of the hat to fold and rotate. I feel like I'm wearing a Dundee crocodile hat, one side of the hat is folded. Maybe I can steam it or use a book to fix it, but I don't have to. Otherwise, the hat is well made and made of good material.

This is a quality cap. Fine weave and good structure. It has a nice lining and a nice leather strap for the hat. They sent the wrong size so I can't rate the fit, but they also sent some sizing stickers to fit inside the liner and they fit really well. This particular model is not foldable, which I don't need. The hat closes well and is comfortable to wear. The hat is much more upscale than the regular Metro styles you see online. Best hat I've had since the last milliner in my town closed.

This is a beautiful panama hat, although very different from my other panama hats (actually made in Ecuador). This is a deeper brown color - more like granola, but difficult to see in the photo. It's shorter and smaller, and while pretty, I prefer the larger neckline. The fabric is immaculate but what I missed and really let me down is that this version can't be rolled up or packed for travel - it's definitely more fragile - great but needs extra care (haha)

This is a beautiful hat we received as a gift for my wife's 91 year old father. The weave is dense and without flaws. The fit was as expected but in case the hat is a bit larger than I would like there are filler pieces in the packaging that fit behind the inner band to make the girth a bit smaller. Very well made hat. It's a bit small although I measured twice to make sure I got the right size for me. But more was needed. However, it suits someone here, so it is already used and will be used. This is an excellent hat - you can find much cheaper bucket hats online but this isn't the real McCoy. This is real Panama made in Ecuador. I love that this brand offers custom sizing for the best fit, rather than S, M, L or worse, one size fits all.
