I took it back after almost 15 years without a golf. With a layoff and an aging body, I need to relearn. When I learned golf at a young age, I used little or no training aids. At the age of 62 I found many of them to be very useful. Some to restore speed, flexibility, and mechanics. Some for tuning, alignment and feel. Installing an alignment mirror is a later category. I would say it can be used at 20ft or more - from straight to easy break - and is best for gaining confidence at 10ft and on shots - you know those ones where the hole is like a moving target looks. Regaining some "feeling" may not need it as much, but for those starting out or regaining feeling and confidence; it is convenient, low price and effective help.
