When ordering, I was afraid that the difference would only be noticeable after a few days. It's worth noting that our carpets have gone from no problem to an incredible flea infestation in a matter of days (despite flea baths and monthly flea treatments this year) thanks to our dogs. I followed the directions, removing all of the furniture from the carpeting, vacuuming first, lightly dusting each room in turn (a good quality dust mask and safety goggles are highly recommended), then brushing off the powder with a broom. It worked immediately, even after an hour there were no more fleas and after a week no more recurrences. Very impressive!
