Installing the XH-W3001 thermostat module and looking inside. Circuit of a common and very simple Chinese thermostat module. The module is rated for 12V but appears to be available in other voltage options as well. With this device, the output is switched to 12V and has a corresponding negative lead for direct load control. The module can control heating or cooling with start and end temperature. Thus, a switch-on temperature of 20°C and a switch-off temperature of 23°C has a hysteresis of 3°C. The relay appears to be rated for 10A but is more reliable when operated at a much lower current.
