The magnets are not strong enough!

We have a smaller crested gecko. This food holder looked exactly like the one we got at the reptarium so we bought it so the lizard would have 2. The magnets are not strong enough to hold any weight. As soon as the gecko climbed onto it, it fell off the side of the tank along with the gecko. We tried all possible ways to tweak it, but it crashed every time. Since we didn't want to harm our gecko, I took it out of the tank. Unless we have purchased other stronger magnets, it is not safe to place in the aquarium.

Pros

EASY TO MOVE: Easily moved from one location to another, these feed and water plate platforms from Ledge offer the same convenience as magnetic tabs but without the added cost. The magnetic cup can be easily removed and replaced if necessary. Provides an elevated feeding area preferred by geckos.
