This is my second bathtub comb. The first one I've had in a few years. I soaked it in bleach every few weeks and it removed the black dirt. Eventually the bleach weakened the rubber and I had to replace it but I had it for many years and liked it. The new one I received is not as long as my original one. I don't see any current products that are the same, longer size as the ones I had that I liked. The new one is shorter and easily pulls out of the sink when I'm hand washing delicate items, causing all kinds of hair and dirt to get up in the water I'm trying to wash in. The new one also turned black at some point. days and I can't get rid of him with anything. I'm seriously unimpressed. Has the material changed too? Now I get annoyed every time I see this. EDIT: This happened a week later and if possible I hate this thing even more than I did when I wrote the review. Our sink is clogged. In fact, very few hairs are attached to the "mushroom". instead everything is clogging our drains.
