regulator arrived well packaged, free shipping, arrived earlier than expected. My old regulator was live; installed 2006 Generac 13kw. After the device was turned off, it took some time to take out the battery and clean it, remove rust and paint. Mark the pins with a marker before removing the old regulator to ensure the new one is connected properly. Two-person operation with a multi-tester on the socket and adjustment with a jeweller's screwdriver. The regulator supplied was far below the required voltage. Before switching on the generator, check the mains voltage so that it is approximately at the correct level. Turn the screw clockwise until the correct tension is maintained. Service call saved.
