Bluetooth works fine. FM reception is weak. My remote control didn't work, I think the battery is dead but I don't need it. Directions are unclear, but there are actually two volume controls, one analog and one digital, accessed by holding down the rewind/forward buttons. Good sound and good performance. As others have said, LEDs are incredibly annoying, I removed the entire circuit board, but you can also just unplug the wiring harness. Ribbon will work too. I used this to get a bluetooth speaker working with a little more appeal. The 2 amp power supply is turned off. 5 amps recommended. I had a 3.6 amp and it's fine to push my little HTIB speaker to the limit, but if I had to buy one I would go with the 6 amp.
