Now that I have the correct faucet it works great. Very solid construction, the 1/4 knob is great. When I contacted the right person at Revain, they held back delivery of a product until confirmed that it matched the photos and description I sent. I think I found the source of the leak with the first Air Gap faucet they sent me. If you are installing on a thin sink or countertop (I had an SS sink) the spacers are not included. There is a C washer that allows you to insert it between the bottom of the sink and the nut that tightens it. The problem is that the gap between the washers is not wide enough to allow the hose to pass through the barbed air gap fittings. So when you tighten it, it puts pressure on the barbs and breaks them, causing water to leak under the sink. This is not visible due to the lack of visibility behind the sink. If you have this condition (thin mount) you will need to purchase some washers to act as spacers under the sink. Look at all photos of the washers. See photos. I first ordered a standard faucet when I needed an air gap faucet. Realizing my mistake, I paid for the return shipping and ordered the Air Gap faucet again. Although I ordered an air gap faucet with the correct part number, I received a standard faucet. The packaging has the exact same numbers as the Air Gap faucet. I sent it back and asked for a fix to be sent. I received the correct Air Gap faucet but it leaked when installed. I sent it back and again received the standard faucet which I will be returning again. A NOTICE. The fake faucet had instructions for all variations of this faucet on the back. But the Air Gap faucet didn't come with instructions so I contacted Mfg and they emailed them to me. I uploaded them to this post.
