As others have said, this cover does not attach exactly like a factory part. In the center are two clips that wrap around the molded plastic bracket inside the switch. Then there are small plastic flanges where you would expect the clamps to be. They must be oriented in the correct direction to fit around the original clamp body. This is kind of a brilliant design as it allows some bits of broken clips from the original part to remain in the switch if needed. I still had to dig up a broken clip and a pile of glue, but the design of this replacement made it a little easier than it otherwise would be.
