This item really is worth the money, except for the cam bolts which are complete crap. The body, even the back wall and the bottom of the drawer are made of solid wood. The closet is as beautiful as the furniture. My cat loves the discreet side entry. The great thing is that you can choose which side you want to put the cat door on. Do yourself a favor and get 8 spare eccentric bolts or other hardware to hold it together before reassembly. The ones that come are the fake metal pots that don't stay in place. Unfortunately, as these are the main parts that hold this thing together. The cabinet is made with love but the eccentric screws were bought from a van down a dark alley. The instructions could also be a little clearer if labels were attached to the screws and front and back marked on the diagrams. This doesn't have a major downside, but it will speed up the build process significantly with minor updates. Overall, I love this item and would recommend it to anyone looking for it. This is real solid furniture.
