Review on Bekith Storage Airtight Canisters Container by Yasmine Gulywasz

These storage jars look so cool but work TERRIBLE. The lid is so loose that if you grab it by the lid (even EMPTY) the lid will immediately slide off. I've read reviews/guides for similar lids that require twisting by pressing on the lid for a tighter fit. I tried this. nope They still slide - again - even when the glass is empty. What hope did I have that the lids would stay in place after I filled them? Aside from asking if it's really "tight" if the lid doesn't hold it's just asking after an accident. In addition, the wood on it is very rough and dry. You know how to add mineral oil to your cutting board from time to time. The wood on these lids looks like they have NEVER been treated. Two of the four in my set were medium brown, one dark, more like espresso, and one very light, like raw pine. For the price I wasn't expecting much but apart from being cheap they just aren't worth the risk of breaking. This set will be returned.
