Review on Advanced AOPEN 32HC5QR Pbiipx: Curved FullHD Monitor with FREESYNC Technology - Stunning 165Hz Refresh Rate by Ian Andneverdie

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I really wanted to love this monitor

That looks great. if you can force it to stay on. This monitor has one button. It's on the back, plug it in and press the button on the right. well, if you want too. There were no problems with it for 2 weeks, then I decided to just switch it off. Then it randomly turned on again. Several times I thought he was dead. I checked wires, plugs, different parts of the house. Everything seemed inefficient turning on the monitor when I wanted to too. The instructions in the book, yes I read it, say to hold the button down for 1 second to turn it on and 5 seconds to turn it off. Well none of these ways seem to work. If the monitor turns on, it will when you plug it in. I could never turn it off no matter how long I press the button on the back. So I call Revain, they contact ACER tech support, give them a serial number and tell me to press the button on the front panel. Yes, not a single button on the back but a non-existent button which they think is on the front. You finally have the correct monitor in the CS window. Tell me if replacing the plugs and sockets doesn't fix the problem should I send it in for a tech to look at. NO, you are returning items that fail within 2 weeks. replacement order. The same problem occurs with out-of-the-box replacement. The cords don't matter, the outlet doesn't matter, it just won't turn on. Contact Revain again, similar story with ACER Tech Support. I get a refund and all I have to do is send it to a UPS store. So the replacement is on the table at this moment. In the meantime I'm packing, find out what the heck, there's no replacement yet, I'll try again. Plug it into the same cord and one of the same outlets as before. well now everything works. it was all yesterday Also this monitor looks good, I may have a lemon but have two monitors that won't turn on, the second hasn't turned off yet but I don't feel like I can trust it so it will be replaced.
