Review on πŸ“Ί Tripp Lite B136-101 Component Video with Stereo Audio Extender over Cat5/Cat6 - Full HD Transmitter and Receiver, Black by Jill Parrott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Holy shit! It's good!

Oh my god, I was a bit skeptical at first. I bought this because I have cable and TV in the master bedroom and a small HDTV in the master bathroom. The old cable box had an S-Video output, which I used to connect to the bathroom TV. I recently got Comca$t's new X1 cable boxes and they don't have S-Video on the back, but they do have an HDMI+ component output. The total distance from running the CAT5e cable from the X1 junction box under the house through the subway to the main bathroom was about 60 feet. My brother-in-law works for Comca$t and warned me he's seen something like this before, but the TV had lines and a "ghost" effect. To my surprise, once I ran CAT5e, clipped the ends of the cable and plugged in, the video quality was phenomenal! No latency when I have both TVs on and the sound is great - no hissing. I am very satisfied with this product and the purchase. - No additional power required - Runs on CAT5e (just a thin cable required!) - No audio hiss - No video lag - Small box that can hide behind a TVBest wall mount 70 bucks I spent.
