They are long but the plastic is very thin so did they start to warp after the first wash? DO NOT put in the dishwasher - I put some of mine in the cutlery basket and ran the dishwasher and when I took them out after some of them had been bent almost 90 degrees. For those who haven't gone bad, they're fine. They're very thin around the perimeter, which is okay because I really only use them for water, but it's a bit annoying. Also, washing your hands is a bit of a hassle. I've dropped them a few times and they seem sturdy in that regard, which is nice. Yes. Do I use other reusable straws instead? Yes. Am I still using them? Yes. Do I regret my purchase? no Would I buy them again? Probably no.
