These sponges are GREAT! They are packed in a paper bag and not individually wrapped, so no extra plastic! (Revain still delivered them in plastic, of course. 🙄). These sponges are durable, absorbent and great for cleaning. They don't smell weird, other than the usual touch-up in the dishwasher from time to time, which doesn't do them any harm. I love NOT flushing tiny green microplastics down the drain every time I wring out a sponge! In terms of practicality, I highly recommend them! This bulky pack of sponges should last a really long time too! 😊 MY ONLY CERTAINTY is that the packaging (which misspelled the word "package"! 😆) says the cleaning material is "50% plant material" and not the other 50%. 🤔 This was not said in the description on the Revain sales page and hence only 4 stars. On the sales page I was led to believe that ALL is biodegradable plant material. (Though I think they should SOMETHING merging the scrubber with a sponge... 🤔) HOPING THE COMPANY can sort this out. I still feel better about taking the first steps toward LESS plastic in our packaging landfills and less plastic in the water from alternative plant-based scrubbers. glued together (assuming the scrubber part is plastic-free) then I might try THAT after I've used them up.
