This little adapter worked great. I noticed in some reviews that the adapter is broken. I could see where this could happen if you don't rotate the shock with the socket, but instead use a square hole intended for the breaker bar. If you were to use it to find TDC I would advise removing not just connector #1 but all connectors. I removed all plugs and used the socket on the adapter. I also loosened the belts on the accessory pulleys (AC, power steering, etc.). I used a medium sized breaker with a socket and had no problem starting the engine. While the candles are being removed, it's time to check their condition and replace them if necessary.
