I've been using this laptop for about 5 months and am very satisfied so far. My performance expectations were met. Pros: - Great speed - Good feature set (SD card reader!) Cons: - Can get hot with heavy use/charging - Screen brightness isn't great. I'm a little tired of ordering a laptop. via Revain, but the price for the configuration I needed was hard to beat (couldn't find a lower price for the 16GB/1TB option anywhere - even if I had done it myself). The notebook arrived quickly and worked great. There is some malware out there so spend some time cleaning it first. I chose an HP laptop based on the reviews and that it was one of the few laptops with an SD card reader. Though seemingly insignificant, it's the last peripheral you carry around. I use it often with Cura and it loads and cuts very quickly. Light games were quick and more than adequate. Battery life is average - not terrible, but not great either. It may get warm while charging or playing. I bought a melamine cutting board to keep my laptop off my lap and found it to be an inexpensive option to avoid blocking the fan vents (not necessary for light activities but I can safely use it on soft surfaces etc. place). is probably my only real complaint. It works perfectly - the colors are acceptable, the response is fine. It's just not that bright. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars here. I knew this was happening so it wouldn't be entirely fair to ignore the star, but I want people to know about it.
