This may be fine for soft brick, but I've tried using it to poke holes in the ground for pool fences and it's failed miserably. He broke through a slab of stone, but as soon as he hit the concrete he calmed down. I used a Milwaukee impact drill and a steady stream of water to keep them cool. Not my first rodeo. Spend more money when doing something other than menial work.
