I had a lot of doubts at first but after a few months it's working much better than I expected. Bought a California double bed last summer and absolutely hated the gap between the beds. I came across a video of this gap filler and decided to give it a try but with a little modification. Instead of a strap to hold the beds together, I simply used a mattress pad that wasn't too thick but would help reduce the "bulge" that the filler creates when it's in place. I then attached everything with a king size sheet. That synergy and the sheet's snug fit worked like a champ! There is no gap and I can raise my bed to at least 45 degrees (legs included) and it holds together perfectly. My only suggestion is when you're done sitting, lower the bed back down to flat (0 degrees) to flatten everything out before raising it back to the sleeping position.
