Coils started failing after 2 days!

Bought 8 ignition coils for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3. after installation the truck ran great for 2 days then the coils started failing one day after the other a day apart. After the third one failed I removed the coils and replaced them with a better brand and after 2 months they are still working perfectly.
