Worked great and easy to program. I used to have tenants who would rent me remotes that didn't work; I just threw them away and decided to start over. Just make sure your reset button is PURPLE; mine is so old I couldn't tell for sure if it was purple/burgundy/carmine so I took a chance. The garage door opener is a 2006 builder and I found the model number by looking in front of it while standing on a stool. Batteries are already installed in the kit, so that's a nice bonus too! I'm going to have a new garage door installed in a few weeks (gate only) so I'm hoping I won't have to reprogram the remotes again. Thanks to my tenants who blew the hell out of my garage door. Garage Door wanted to charge me $60 for the programming console; what a rip off! All you need is a stepladder, find the learn button on the right; Again, this can appear very dark purple or maroon due to age. Do you have that! You can do that! I was able to program both one after the other. So I have one in my glove box now and then a spare if/when that battery dies. Which probably happens in the middle of a blizzard or something. laugh, right?
