Why do I need this? Was getting ready to return this - then I happened to use it.This item holds a sink strainer in place while you tighten the nut on it. It eliminates the need for a second person to help you install the sink strainer easily.How often will I use this? Just a couple of times in your life will make it well worth the cost. It simply does what it's intended to do and works well.Downsides? Keep the box or you will find this sometime in the future and wonder what it is!

Hard to use, lever hole is in the middle of the wrench making extremely close to sink.
